#RKelly may be behind bars awaiting trial on federal sexual abuse charges, but reportedly three of his associates were out in the free world, attempting to threaten and bribe his accusers. They have now been arrested.
On Wednesday, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn announced the arrest of people who were attempting to “silence women through harassment,” according to @nytimes.
“On Wednesday, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn announced the arrests of three people — Donnell Russell, Michael Williams and Richard Arline, Jr. — who were charged in separate schemes to threaten and bribe Mr. Kelly’s accusers, including the burning of the car.”
This is partly in connection to a June 20th incident that Williams is allegedly responsible for. One of the alleged accusers who would possibly testify against R. Kelly found her car on fire.
It was also stated that the men had discussions of bribes as well as threats to reveal sexually explicit photographs of one woman, according to @nytimes.
Arline is accused of offering a $500,000 payment to a victim to keep her from cooperating with the government, according to the @ChicagoSunTimes.

#Roommates, earlier this week, #CeeLoGreen caused an uproar on social media when he made comments about women who are currently in the music industry, specifically hip hop. Following the intense backlash, CeeLo has now offered a clarification and an apology.
CeeLo Green, while promoting his new project, stated his opinions on the current state of women in the music industry. He labeled them as “shameless” and desperate”—and as expected, the backlash was immediate. Well now, taking to his Instagram, he has come forward to set the record straight on what he actually meant.
CeeLo posted the following: “There seems to be a misunderstanding with a quote taken from an interview I did a few days ago while promoting my new project. …I’m an advocate of artistic freedom and expression. I would never disrespect [female artists] by any means. I acknowledge them all as powerful, beautiful, and influential women…and professionals. He continued, adding:

#TSRFoodies: #Roommates, believe it or not, Thanksgiving is only a few months away! To celebrate, Brach’s candy has dropped a brand new candy corn flavor that tastes just like Thanksgiving....literally!
According to the packaging, the candy corn comes in six classic Thanksgiving flavors: green beans, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, ginger glazed carrot, sweet potato pie, and stuffing. Thankfully, all those flavors aren't mixed in one piece of candy corn, but in each individual piece instead.
The candy corn comes in different colors that coordinate with the flavor, such as green for green beans and brown for turkey. So, y’all trying it or nah?! 🤔👀 📸: (@brachscandy and @candyhunting)

It looks like the career of #KandiBurruss will be a hot topic among the law students at #GeorgiaStateUniversity this fall. It was recently announced that students will have the opportunity to take a course based on the career on the singer/ songwriter/ entrepreneur and reality star.
The course is a part of the “Legal Life of…” series, which is instructed by professor Mo Ivory. The series, which began last fall, has been used to help law students prepare Georgia’s evolving entertainment industry. Last year, the course focused on Ludacris, and Kandi is the next Atlanta native they will be focusing on.
Professor Ivory talked about this year’s course and said, “I chose Kandi because she has an amazing career, which spans every aspect of the entertainment industry from music, television and live performance to licensing, apparel and more. I wanted to study a woman this time around and having worked with Kandi in the past, I knew she was the perfect choice. She handles her business and it shows with her—read more at TheShadRoom.com (📸: @gettyimages)
