  • The greatest revelation I’ve had from my time in this world is that I know nothing about the things I think I know.

  • As I intend, so shall it be.
Your thoughts and words hold power.
Don’t plant a seed if you don’t intend to grow it.

  • #sponsored The past few month we have all seen our typical lifestyles changed drastically. In these times of change, it has been the way we have supported and helped others that has been a shining light.
With the opening of outdoor tracks, I was so excited to be able to return to doing what I love. As much as I loved running in the fresh air, I missed the thrill of hurdling. Unfortunately, I had no hurdles for my workouts. One day, I was surprised to come home to a stack of PVC pipe, my dad had bought, determined to build me a set of hurdles. And thanks to my dad I now have a set of hurdles, which have not only helped my physical preparation, but have helped me feel ‘normal’ and excited again.
I know we all have stories of how someone has randomly helped or supported us. Join me and @rbc in celebrating our local heroes. Share your stories at randomactsofcanadian.com

  • Anybody else sing love songs to themselves in the mirror?!
.
I hope to live in a world where the word self-love is a given. Until then let’s keep reminding ourselves to embrace every aspect of our divine being. ❤️ #nevertoomuch

  • I am a Black Woman. I’m am proud of my culture and my community. I stand on the strong shoulders of my ancestors and I hope to pave a way for the future generations to come. I am so proud of the beautiful things that Black people have and continue to add to this world. .
We are BLACK WOMEN! We build, we don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN. We have felt the pain of being torn down & we have decided we will be deliberate about building others! 💜 upload a photo of only yourself, & tag as many SISTERS to do the same.

  • Black People are being mistreated and Black people are being killed- and that should make everyone angry. Black people have a story of strength and perseverance but enough is enough. This time feels heavy and uncomfortable but these are necessary conversations to have. This is an important time for Black people to stand in their truth, remember their power and use their voices. This is a time for listening and empathy. This is a time for action and change. #blacklivesmatter
