  • As someone who’s experienced aggression for the colour of my skin, what’s going on in America breaks my heart. I thought about not posting in fear that yet again people would try to shut me down and say to me “just try not to think about it” “be the bigger person” “don’t worry about racists” but after what @nanaaowusu and I experienced the other day and to then a few days later see and hear about yet another innocent black person #GeorgeFloyd killed for no reason makes me sick and angry to the point where I need to speak out. Speaking out helps bring about change. Staying silent means staying put and I’m sick of staying put. To all of my black friends, sisters, brothers, families and communities I’m sorry that you are subject to this day in and out in what is already a difficult world. I feel your pain and I’m praying for you. Stay safe. 🖤 #BlackLivesMatter
