Kristina Bazan Profile Information

  • Have been creating and writing the last couple of weeks in my hometown in Switzerland, getting lost in the fields, making one with nature and it’s wilderness. I’ve found that there is nothing more delectable than a bit of cbd to create and ease into flow, as part of a beautiful ritual and conversation with the inward and outward worlds. I had the pleasure to partner with @matruecannabis, a swiss cannabis/cbd brand that crafts high quality magic herbs from Switzerland, all manufactured sourced locally and made with love 🌿 #matruecannabis #cbd

  • Some photos by the magical Carrie Mae Weems whose photography I find absolutely fascinating. These are troubling times of sorrow.. not understanding how still today in our connected world with so much exchange, such cruelty can be perpetuated. What happened to George Floyd is devastating and is a symbol of a society still corrupt in many ways, emotionally, spiritually, politically, economically. This must awaken us to unite even more in compassion, in any way we can, to demand a change of system and stop tolerating violence, oppression and discrimination. Grateful for all the books people were sharing these last days, please if you have any more recommendations or links to associations feel free to comment bellow for everyone to be able to find ressources to help in any way. You can also find information on @naacp #justiceforgeorgefloyd #blacklivesmatter #carriemaeweems

  • And of course, Happy Earth day 🌳🌱 There is nothing more heartwarming than taking a stroll alone in nature and breathing in all the colors and sounds. Although I am spending confinement in Paris, can’t wait to join back the gorgeous lush forests in my hometown in Switzerland. Nature is our healer, our Mother Earth with all of her eternal wisdom, mysticism and poetry, whispering her love to our ears at all times for us to listen. Be kind to her.

  • Some magical books I’ve been reading for the past few weeks 🌿 1. Le Mariage du Ciel et de L’Enfer by William Blake (check out also his paintings 🙏🏻) 2. Le Troisième Oeil by Michel Coquet (all about Third Eye activation) 3. Poetry by Leonard Cohen 4. Just Kids by Patti Smith (most thoughtful gift from dear @ineskarma) 5. The Ra Material Book 1 (Honestly by far one of the most amazing books I’ve read in a long time. You won’t see life in the same way after reading this.) 6. La Bhagavadgita / Also recommend books by Dolores Cannon which I have been listening to in audio version while cooking and painting 🌞 Enjoy and sending much love.

  • A message from the heart, to share a piece of my thoughts through this confinement. Usually to speak about a topic like this one I would write an article, but I think the format here might speak more appropriately. I have been working in the creative industry since I am 16. To this day, I can’t help but notice that even through days of global pandemic, it seems so hard for many to relax and be in a state of simple contemplation, witnessing simple joys without having to share everything about it on social media. For when would be the best moment to put our phones away than now. I appreciate social platforms a lot for the freedom it gives us to be connected and do it in creative ways. Yet slowing down means also seeking less validation and feedback which our generation seems to feed off of. And then we wonder what creates anxiety and a major lack of hope and confidence in so many. A lot of people standing in positions of power within the creative industries and giving true opportunities to young creators still perpetuate our molding into favorable formats instead of basing it on genuine care, love and support. I am grateful to do what I enjoy in an industry I find beautiful in many ways, but I don’t appreciate the lack of humility and humanity (without making a generalization, there are many bright souls). In 2020 we should be able to provide a healthier context for not only younger ones but all of us, based on heart energy which is a huge difference in a way someone chooses to create and partner with other people. Not just basing it on economic or social status through popularity and strategy but with the wish to contribute something beautiful. I highly encourage you to be more mindful. We must learn to find happiness in other ways and create opportunities for people who don’t have the same ressources. Each one of us has an unmeasurable amount of worth and value.

  • Back in the days when we could meet up and jam out 🖤 With @lewisylvain for @ellefr, never shared this little live so here’s a snippet to go through these strange days 🤘🏻Let’s hope our world doesn’t turn black, but instead full of colors and vibrancy.
