  • I’m proud of my city. Till Sunday at Plaça Catalunya you can pay respects to all of our brothers killed by policy brutality. #BlackLivesMatterBCN started today with a beautiful vigil where we kneeled for 8 minutes and 46 seconds and we listened the speech of reverent King where he told us that he had a dream. We all need to make that dream a reality. #blacklivesmatter

  • Barcelona joined the #blacklivesmatter movement this afternoon. It was a very moving vigil where we paid respect to all the lives lost by police brutality. It was inspiring to see people from all age ranges and ethnicities getting together in the heart of Barcelona. Our brothers overseas, you are not alone #blacklivesmatterbcn. Thank you @jd.courtney for organizing the event.

  • Saturday’s with sun, coffee and Flaubert. Now reading the 📖 Sentimental Education (let’s see if I can learn something useful to apply during the post-pandemic era 🤣)

  • Today on my daily walk I visited Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia. Day after day it was always surrounded by tourists. This is no longer the case. Today the cathedral spoke to me in a different way.

  • I have lost count of how many days I’ve been confined. Going out once every two weeks to buy groceries or exercising alone using virtual training. I’m blessed that my family is healthy and fortunate enough to be stuck in Barcelona close to my loved ones. My country has been hit hard but it also has public health care. I’ve been trying to not think ahead. To stop planning. I’ve been also thinking about my lifestyle and my behavior. Have I lived too fast? Have I not paid enough attention to what really makes me happy? Have I loved enough the people I love? Have I give my best at work? Can I be a better person? Where have I failed? Which mistakes have I repeated over and over? What I haven’t valued enough? I’ve also learned to respect the silence and to not engage in silly political fistfights. We were only gonna survive unless we are all united and if we start changing our lifestyles. Now is coronavirus. Next stop is climate change. Love you all and thank you for all the messages of support. Hope I can hug your all very soon.
