  • We all know about the importance of talking and sharing but what about listening? It gets a little forgotten and at times is more important than saying your bit. Real listening. Listening with every inch of your body and soul. Hearing the answers hidden beneath the bullshit. It’s all there.

  • Not an easy one at all but when we have been rejected by another there is a moment where we can dig down so deep and look at what that rejection has brought up. Usually it’ll trigger our worst fears about ourselves which are founded in little truth. Then we have the opportunity to build ourselves back up and feel accepting of every bit of ourselves without outside adulation/acceptance/praise. We all have a good side and not so good side and all of it is ok. There is little point pretending otherwise. Accepting the good and the bad is probably our quickest route to mental peace.

  • Books, books, glorious books.
I must tell you about @nicola_b_vivian My Will, one of the most stunning books I’ve read. Like one long poem that took me on a trip of personal discovery exploring love, addiction and codependency. Codependency seems to be so untapped as far as conversation goes. It seeps into so many relationships in the most surreptitious ways. I want to learn much more about it after reading this raw, beautiful and at times harrowing book.
I’m loving Very Nice at the minute and feel lucky to have an early copy of @jayshetty book!
Also whilst we’re on the subject my dear mate @bryonygordon has another phenomenal book out next week. Good luck Bryony. I love you. Happy reading folks 💓

  • Lockdown has proved to be quite a creative time for me and my preferred means of expression which will always be writing. I’m excited to have finished a new book which will be available early next year.

Writing Speak Your Truth was a cathartic adventure as I looked back on how I’ve used my voice over the years. So many of us feel silenced, terrified to speak up or fear judgement, so swallow our words down. I hope this book provides a helping hand to those who feel similarly so that we can all walk down a new and expansive path together where truth reigns supreme, integrity is cherished and authenticity drives us always.

Published in January and available to preorder from now using the link in my bio x

  • Wise words from @breathing.tree that keep ringing round my head. Do you need to say this to yourself? Have you berated yourself over the years? Allowed others to treat you badly? Welcomed in criticism from others and taken words on board? Self punished with over eating/under eating/alcohol/toxic relationships? Do you need to apologise to YOU?
