Reunited + it feels so good 😌⠀
1st blocks session since Feb! 💥💥
forgotten about in the Zoom waiting room: a selfie story.
+ had to add this. I love it. ⠀
Giving people the space to be their fullest, most vibrant and colourful selves is a form of liberation. ⠀
It’s essential. ⠀
Expecting ppl to bend + contort to fit pre-determined boxes to help you understand them, or help you feel more comfortable, isn’t what life is about... It’s exhausting + futile. ⠀
Love people for who they are.⠀
And if you still don’t understand them, or you can’t ‘get your head around’ them... then listen, let them show you who they are + you’ll expand your world view xxx⠀
Tested out the super slow mo mode on my @samsungmobile the other day... glad I move a bit quicker than this in real life 🐢😅⠀
Follow us to see #HowTeamGalaxyTrains - up next is @kimyk10 ♥️⠀
Hope you’re all staying safe and having a good evening xxx⠀
Not sunbathing ⠀
Just finished ☠️
Next week, I’ll be on BBC Bitesize Daily Secondary 12-13 years and 13-14 years reading extracts from Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses. You can catch this on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button from Monday (so tomorrow!) ⠀
I remember reading this book at a young age and being confused at first. The world inside the book didn’t make sense to me because real life was the other way around... I rememeber getting a few chapters in and then starting the whole book again because I thought I’d got the noughts and crosses mixed up and misunderstood the text. Then the penny dropped 🥴⠀
Such an amazing book and was one of the first that made me sit and think about the world we are in.⠀
Definitely as good a time as any to either go to BBC Bitesize and follow it there, watch the series on BBC iPlayer or of course buy a copy for yourself. ⠀
