  • I understand that it can be easy to say, "Eat more vegetables" but when it comes down to it, many of my clients fall short of their daily needs.

Thus, I have come up with some creative ideas that can help my clients eat more vegetables.

With these ideas, you will be able to start eating more vegetables without even trying.

So let's get started.

Hereโ€™re some creative ideas to add more vegetables in your lifestyle.

๐Ÿ“Make vegetable soups.

Soups are an excellent way to consume multiple servings of vegetables at once. Plus, it's simple to cook veggies into the broth- or cream-based soups. Adding even a small amount of extra veggies such as broccoli to soups is a great way to increase your intake of fibre, vitamins and minerals.

๐Ÿ“Make zucchini lasagna.

Another creative way to eat more veggies is by making zucchini lasagna. Traditional lasagna is a pasta-based dish made by layering lasagna noodles with sauce, cheese and meat. It's tasty, but it's also typically very high in carbs. A great way to prepare this delicious dish with lower carb content and more nutrients, is by replacing the lasagna noodles with strips of zucchini. Zucchini is a rich source of B vitamins and vitamin C, in addition, to trace minerals and fibre.

๐Ÿ“Make vegetable smoothies.

Drink vegetables down by blending them with smoothies. Greens like spinach, kale, and arugula are unnoticeable when mixed with sweet berries, grapes, apples, and juices; red vegetables like beets or tomatoes are the stars of these delicious smoothies. Even avocados are easily masked in a shake, yielding a thick, creamy drink.

Adding vegetable juices to your lifestyle is one of the best way to kick-start your vegetable habit. Try mixing and matching veggies from the list to squeeze different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants into your diet. List: Kale, Carrot, Beet, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cucumbers, Wheatgrass, Celery, Turnip, Spinach, Bitter gourd, Bottle gourd, Tomato.
