A BIG Thank you to my squad for helping me celebrate my birthday. Being stuck in a hotel is not ideal for a party, but we certainly had a good time! 🥳 🎂🎁🎈 #28yearsyoung
Wow! Sports in the U.S is back! I can’t believe it!! ⚽️☺️ A couple of months ago i couldn’t believe in the idea of playing soccer again in the middle of a global pandemic. Throughout this whole process I have put my trust in myself, my teammates, and health professionals to give us all the best chance of returning back the field the safest way possible. Here we are at Game 1 of the NWSL Challenge cup. Wishing all the teams good luck(not too much though haha), good health and safety as we bring sports back together. 📺NC vs Portland 10:30 CT on CBS
Let’s keep the conversations going and taking action.
The NC Courage players have pledged to fight against social injustice. We are hosting an auction with items donated by players to benefit the National Black Justice Coalition, a civil rights organization focused on empowering Black LGBTQ and Same Gender Loving (SGL) people. Its mission is to end racism, homophobia, and LGBTQ/SGL bias and stigma. NBJC bridges the gap between the movements for racial justice and LGBTQ/SGL equality. This is the first step in our mission to stand against racism as a team. You can bid on items at the link in my bio from now until July 27th. You can also donate directly to the NBJC at our auction site. @nbjconthemove
Happy Father’s Day pops!
Thank you for all the laughs and positive vibes!🥰😘
Millions of protesters across the country are speaking out against anti-black racism and police violence. But we still have a lot of work to do, and we can't let up. So keep going. Continue fighting for our Phenomenally Black community until there's full accountability. All proceeds from this @phenomenal tee benefit @blackfutureslab, which is working to build Black political power.
We need Everyone to make meaningful, long lasting change🙏🏾🌎....here is how i would like to help the lives of black athletes.
#blackouttuesday no more hashtags, no more Black lives taken, ENOUGH!
Im gonna say this loud for the people in the back!🗣 I am so proud to be BLACK! With a Capital B. My skin color has always been misconstrued by society as , undesirable and undeserving of equal treatment. The color of my skin carries oppression. It carries the weight of those that have fought for our civil rights and holds the weight of our fight against racism and police brutality today! Being Black comes with alot of responsibility, because we as a community are bonded together. When one of us falls we all fall. When one of us is hurting we all carry that hurt. I pray that those who come after us dont have to bare the weight of todays world.
Let this be a reminder that even though we come from all walks of life, we are all worthy of equality and respect no matter what shade we are.🙏🏾✊🏾 #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforbreonnataylor #justiceforahmaud
Just missing you a little extra today! Love you, stay safe ♥️
Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 Forever grateful for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedom!
I had the incredible honor of listening to these men share their stories in Normandy,France. Every word they spoke pierced my heart because their mission on that day, was nearly impossible. I broke down just thinking about all of the lives that were lost, and as Frank Devita was sharing his story he reached out to me and allowed me to cry on his shoulder. I feel so bad because i probably should have been the one comforting him. This was an experience i will never forget! Completely life changing.
