Really missing the gym today. Gyms are closed in AZ again😳 I have 2 reactions that come to mind:
1. Please wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands. Do it for essential workers, the healthcare heroes, and the future events you want to see happen! As for me, I really hope everyone can follow the well known health requirements so the Olympics will be able to take place next year. Being so dedicated to this sport makes it extremely frustrating when others aren’t keeping the world’s health and safety in mind when leaving the house and interacting with others.
2. This is another opportunity to be creative with home workouts. Hang in there everyone💪 There’s a lot of creative home workouts out there. Stay strong! I think I might try posting some home workouts to get the creative juices flowing. Feel free to send suggestions! Tag a friend who needs some inspiration🙂 we’re in this together!

This is a bit belated, but Happy Olympic Day! 💙💛🖤💚❤️ When I think of what I have accomplished before and after the Olympic Games I realize that I identify greatly with my struggles and how much I’ve grown from them and am now empowered by them. I come from a humble background growing up and the second picture displayed shows an image of me collecting recyclables at a swim competition my senior year of high school to earn more money for college because I was financially independent for my education. The last picture shows an image of the strong and independent woman I strive to be every day. We’ve all gone through our own struggles. Some might be shared on social media, and other times we go through them silently on our own. Just know that you DO have the power to get through your current struggle and you have the choice to be proud of your effort and attempt to grow and learn from it.
The Olympic creed quoted by Baron de Coubertin: “The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle.” #olympicday

No one looks cute working out! Don’t let unrealistic standards on Instagram keep you from being your best. We’re not here for a photo shoot, we’re here to get stronger💪😉Keep smiling, you’re earning it!
Happy to be outside more often, even if it’s with thing 1 and thing 2 😂😄
The beginning of the Pandemic was tough, so was middle, and hopefully we’re near the end! It was really easy for me to sit in a dark place in my mind and wonder “Why?” But now I consider this a chance to practice and grow my mental strength 💪. There are exercises you can do at home to still keep you mentally sharp and mentally tough! I’ve taken this opportunity to really work on the mental side of my game. How have you taken advantage of this time?
Also, after being out of the water for an extended period of time in quarantine, I’m so thankful for friends who have shared their pools! And thankful ability to record my stroke to show me how much work needs to done. Let’s go!!! 💪
Thank you @kat.daddyyyyyy for the water and @salo.david for the workout!
HUUUGE thanks to past club teammate @kat.daddyyyyyy for letting me use her pool today❤️ first time in almost two months I’ve been able to get in the water. It feels like home💙
For those still waiting for pools to open, hang in there. There is a lot of fun visualization training I’ve been doing and I can help teach you and your team! DM me if your team is interested💜
Trying to stay sane with home workouts like everyone else🤪
Hang in there friends, we’re in this together! 💪
Self care is still just as important if not more important right now during this quarantine. I love having my @aseaglobal skin care line to help my face feel refreshed and hydrated after any workout I do, whether it be a pool or quarantined garage workout. I appreciate their support and products that make me feel at my best! 💙
Dog work out challenge! Try to think of 3+ exercises you can do with your pup! It’s important to try and stay active even if we’re in quarantine💪
Even more so, it is still important to recover! I am so glad I have the support of ASEA to help with my recovery!

As many have heard, the 2020 Olympic Games have been postponed. There are many emotions swirling around in everyone’s mind. There is a confused anger because we have sacrificed a lot to get to this point in our careers to compete this summer. There is a slight relief that we are not being asked to train in a dangerous atmosphere that can harm us,our loved ones, and more. But within Team USA there is a thriving motivation knowing that we have more time to prepare an unforgettable performance, and to continue to fine tune our abilities to execute a remarkable effort. We all make sacrifices to obtain our goals. This is no different. ONE TEAM. #Tokyo2021 @teamusa
