I always had trouble fitting in my workout due to hectic schedules. Having followed lifestyle change focused programmes to first lose weight and then lose fats, my personal experience says:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 are the best as I prefer working out on an empty stomach and most importantly, I feel happy and energetic throughout the day⁣⁣
2. For me, evening workouts resulted in me staying awake at night, that too feeling energetic⁣⁣

My learning - WORKOUT whenever you get time, but be 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 with the schedule. It is just one hour out of the 24 you have. What 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 is what you do in the remaining 23 hours!!!⁣

I’m not used to timing sets, to be fair Im not great at counting! But I fancied giving this a go as I know Interval training certainly has its benefits and several of my On Demand Studio members might enjoy it. 

So here it is. Excuse the panting, sweating and occasional faffing with the stopwatch! 
Now someone hose me down pleeease!!! 🚿

  • It’s Tuesday... have you exercised yet this week? 🏃🏽‍♀️Usually by Tuesday, we start to get sucked in by the work week and push our goals we set for ourselves to the back burner. 

I walk by our @peloton 🚴🏾 and words of inspiration every day... how can I not hop on?! 

Even a 15 minute ride gives me a boost of energy that I used to get from an afternoon cup of coffee ☕️ (which I no longer need)

Any peloton fans out there who want to do a ride together? I love @codyrigsby - specifically his sass during Britney rides 💃🏻🐍

How are you all staying motivated and reaching your fitness goals while fighting that mid-week burn out? 🏋🏾‍♂️🤸🏿‍♂️

📌SAVE for later & TAG a friend who needs a quick workout that will get your heart rate up in a short amount of time!

👉🏽Mixed intervals: 8 rounds of 2 exercises (20 seconds hard/10 seconds rest) for 4 minutes
👉🏽you could link 2 tabatas together for a solid 10-15 minute workout
👉🏽cool down and stretch when you are done
👉🏽Can be done before your exercise routine or before a run, bike ride, or hike or repeated one more time through

💥Rounds 1,2,5,6= lateral side step up and down steps leading with R foot up 2x and then L 2x- 20 seconds or up to 40 seconds/10 second rest or 20 second rest
💥Rounds 3,4,7,8= push up to R leg lunge  on high step to push up to L leg lunge -20 seconds or up to 40 seconds/10 second rest or 20 seconds rest

1st exercise = Great for building lateral muscles, glutes, power! 
2nd exercise = great for upper body power, ankle and hip mobility, glute and quad activation

And with that comes the willingness to LEARN and educate yourself. 🤓⁣
Lots of water. 💦⁣
Physical activity. 🏃🏻‍♀️⁣
Loving your body enough to treat it RIGHT rather than sabotage it. ❤️⁣

Long term results don’t come short term “fixes”⁣

This body, this mindset … they speak from experience. ⁣

PS … THREE YEARS of eating to fuel, of finding my balance, of moving my body, of LOVING my body. ⁣

BUT this means we get to design a whole NEW space and I can hardly contain my excitement. We’ve already started designing and I’m looking forward to being more adventurous with our furniture and style.

@jsnmjsnm’s art and his incredible craftsmanship are going to play a major part in our new home and I’m so excited to fill our home with his incredible things!

Change inspires creativity and I’M READY FOR IT!🥳✨
