  • Hello everyone 👋🏾 

I’ve had weekend of waaaaaaay too much drinking and eating, hence why I haven’t posted much 🙈

So today it was back to plan because I really need to get on it!

So dinner tonight was wholemeal couscous with crispy kale, peppers, @quorn_uk chicken pieces, lighter salad cheese and some lemon and herb dressing. All this comes to 277cal and it’s absolutely delicious and super healthy 🥗 

I’ve been out in the look for instagram accounts with healthy and full of protein vegetarian meals. Any suggestions?

  • So I’d normally not do this but I was looking through my old photos to see if I made any progress in the short time I’ve started to take the gym serious. I still have a long way to go but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far!

40grams Oats 
25grams Rice malt syrup
2 tablespoon nuttlex 
2 tablespoon Cacao powder
I packet Mini oreos 
Add water for right consistency 
Blend all together and press in mould pop in the fridge for half hour. Make the mousse mixture while waiting for bottoms to firm up.

Aeroplane mousse pack 
Almond milk 1 cup
Mix as directed

  • 🥳 woot my new athletic wear from @balanceathletica came in 🥳

I got the leggings in the blue tie dye and the key tank in the blue and the orange color 💙🧡 The leggings are really soft and super comfy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how compressive the tanks are. (Not supportive really but def compressive. Since I mostly do low impact workouts they’ll be perfect ☺️) I’m not sure if they’re totally worth the price tag but it’s def a nice product!

  • HOW TO FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE TO HELP YOU TO LOSE WEIGHT DEFINITELY!

Some time ago I felt that my negatives thoughts were holding me back and this may be happening to you too.
_

Focusing on what’s not going well it can be keeping you stuck in your problem, instead of on their way to a solution and to create the consistent habits you need in order to lose weight and keep it off forever.
_

Here is an example:
During the week you have been preparing your foods, eating when hungry at the table, prioritizing vegetables and proteins and even working out - that is a big win... but there comes the weekend and you:
_

Watched a movie and without realizing it, you ate a full bag of Doritos - at that moment you will instantly forget all the good stuff you have done, you may feel guilty and even think that you haven't changed at all, that all your efforts during the week have been in vain... and possible you keep eating because what the hell!
_

Does any of this sound familiar to you?
_

The brain is wired for survival, to protect you for potential threats and that is why you are constantly thinking on treats, defending yourself trying to protect you from danger and that is why the negative prevails.
_

Luckily you don't have to live that way, so you can let your guard down a bit and in situations like the one mention above when you catch yourself overeating, you can follow the next steps:
_

1. when you realised something is going wrong, without emotions or drama, act as an observer, analyze why you have done and what you can do better next time. 
_

2. take a second to remember what is going well, perhaps you can have a notepad with those mini wins so you don't forget. 
_
 
Then you can choose where your attention goes, not dismissing it, just learn from it, allowing you to take action and move on, perhaps in the right direction to lose weight for good.
_

  • MOTIVATION MONDAY! This is what keeps me going! I barely have any pictures of me from when I was this big because I was so ashamed but it’s great to look back at this part of my journey. I neverrrr thought I would have a platform to help others & celebrate my successes but I’m so thankful for the way life has gone. I can’t sit here & wish that I never gained weight because I’m so thankful for this life lesson & truly believe it has made me a better person. I’m a firm believer in “everything happens for a reason” & I’m learning more about myself every day! When you start to believe in yourself, it’s amazing what can happen 🥰.

  • In the wise words of Shakira, “You know my hips don't lie
And I'm starting to feel it's right” 😆
But for real. These hips don’t lie! I really wish I had before measurements, but all I know is that at 50lbs down my circumference was larger than my height. The weight loss portion of my journey has been a heck of a lot of fun, but I feel like all the pieces are finally clicking into place. Both mind and body working together towards the future. I may not know where life will lead me, but I’ve never been more excited to find out! Pictured on the left is from a family cruise before starting my journey. I may have been smiling in the photo, but this trip was an eye opener as to my limitations. Then the world was limiting me, or so I thought.  Pictured right is someone that finally is realizing the only real limitation is the person staring back in the mirror, and when that person focuses their energy on progress instead of perfection they can do hard things. ❤️

  • I need to preface this with two apologies 1. this is gonna be long and 2. this is my second time posting the photo on the right. I can remember each year dreading the summer because I would have to be in a bathing suit. For some reason, I felt I could hide behind my baggy clothes and no one would know I was overweight, but in a bathing suit there was no wear to sneak the LBs. I spent so many summers skipping various events, pretending I hated swimming or “forgetting” to bring a bathing suit, so I could avoid being seen in one. This Fourth of July was such a relief this year where I felt better being in a suit around people. I was having a tough time last week, just not feeling the motivation to keep working like I have been, this photo that I took reminded me why I’m doing this - to improve my quality of life and happiness. Through this surgery I am no longer taking a back seat in my life.   • This is a bit of a personal post. When I started All for Love, I ended up putting on a lot of weight due to how incredibly hard I was working and not at all looking after myself... working all day every day, working nights, crazy long hours. not eating, just snacking on sugar in the van from garages in between jobs. Travelling loads... I wasn’t looking after myself at all and fast forward five years and I have a wonderful business but have put on a lot of weight, which I’ve been massively self conscious and sad about this whole time. Since lockdown started and all our work fell away I have tried to concentrate on getting back in shape, on self care, sleeping and eating well - actual meals not just galaxy chocolate bars, jelly tots and Diet Coke! I have now lost three stone and slowly but surely I’m starting to feel like my old self again. I still have a long way to go but it’s a start and my major lockdown achievement! To anyone else out there battling with weight loss, you got this!! Start where you are, with what you have and just do what you can. I’m with you! 🙏🏼🥰💪🏽

  • Today's the day!

 Today I start my weight loss journey. I told myself so many times I'm Gona start Monday & today is that Monday, and let me tell you it's already been a struggle. I woke up this morning and the first thing I wanted was a coke 😩 lol but I didn't give in, I pushed thru it, worked out & now I feel good. Although I love my body and all its done for me this isn't where I Wana be. I see myself and I feel humiliated, I feel disgusting, I feel tired, I feel gross and I don't want to feel this way anymore. I've gone back and forth about posting my weight so I can hold myself accountable and post my progress weight loss numbers as well, but Ive felt so embarrassed about it, I weigh more now then I ever have in all my life, more then I did giving birth to both my kids. But you know what this number doesn't define me, this number is temporary, this number is gona change with all my hardwork. So I'm ready to say goodbye to this 260lb body. You are not for me anymore.     Today I start my weight loss journey. I told myself so many times I'm Gona start Monday & today is that Monday, and let me tell you it's already been a struggle. I woke up this morning and the first thing I wanted was a coke 😩 lol but I didn't give in, I pushed thru it, worked out & now I feel good. Although I love my body and all its done for me this isn't where I Wana be. I see myself and I feel humiliated, I feel disgusting, I feel tired, I feel gross and I don't want to feel this way anymore. I've gone back and forth about posting my weight so I can hold myself accountable and post my progress weight loss numbers as well, but Ive felt so embarrassed about it, I weigh more now then I ever have in all my life, more then I did giving birth to both my kids. But you know what this number doesn't define me, this number is temporary, this number is gona change with all my hardwork. So I'm ready to say goodbye to this 260lb body. You are not for me anymore. Im ready to be healthy and I'm ready to get this body ready and in the right shape for baby #3 ❤️ I got this! 💪🏼 Send me all the good vibes guys cuz I know I'm Gona need it on my bad days 😩 lol

There are soooo many things I WISH I hadn’t believed 🙊

CARBS ARE BAD FOR YOU 🥯 - Carbs are actually your bodies preferred energy source 🥦 Granted, some carbs aren’t good for you ❌ BUT you do need certain carbs to fuel your body 😊

EATING LATE WILL MAKE ME FAT ⏰ - No it will not✋A calorie is a calorie whether it’s consumed at 8am or 11pm 🤦🏽‍♀️ As long as you stick to your daily calorie allowance, it does not matter what time of the day you eat, your body will break it down in the same way 🥰

EATING TREATS IS NOT ALLOWED 🍫 - Ermm, I am the QUEEN of eating treats 👑 I try to follow the 80/20 rule (Eat clean 80% of the time 🍎 & then enjoy yummy treats 20% of the time 🍬) If i didn’t have my daily treats I probably wouldn’t have stuck to it 🙊

YOUR SIZE IS BASED ON YOUR GENETICS. IT’S POINTLESS TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT- Now, this one may hurt to hear 🤷🏽‍♀️ but it’s something I told myself on repeat & it’s just NOT an excuse❗️Regardless of your genetic makeup, you CAN lose weight ⬇️ Don’t get me wrong, some people have certain genes that genuinely does make weight loss harder/difficult BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t lose weight and KEEP IT OFF 😃

A CALORIE DEFICIT, regardless of food source, meal frequency and meal timing, leads to weight loss ✔️Stop looking for the next ‘quick fix’ 🛑 Buckle up and enjoy the journey 💓

Hope you all had a good weekend🥰 I had a lovely relaxed weekend with no tracking and too much ice cream🤣 Tbh it was nice to just eat what I want without thinking too much about it! It’s okay to not log 100% of your food and stick to your plan like glue, an extra biscuit today won’t make any difference if you’re back on it tomorrow😇 Small changes > fad diets every day🙌🏻 Ps why has no one told me how comfy bandeaus are?! Just bought about 10 of them after getting this one😂 Enjoy your evening everyone🌟
