  • Cheat Day Wednesday is here and we know you deserve it! We prepared a healthy snack recipe to get you all pumped up through the day!
Today we’re making: Peanut Butter Cupcakes!

Easy to make and packed with nutrition, Cheat Days will always be a breeze.
Let’s start!

Ingredients that we will be needing: 
• 1 Pack of BariatricPal Chocolate Chip Pancakes (Get them here: http://ow.ly/O5JO50AR1qW)
• 6 tbsp. Peanut Butter
• ¼ cup butter spray
• 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
• 3 tbsp. Splenda Brown Sugar

Frosting Ingredients:
• 2 packs of BariatricPal French Vanilla Shake/Pudding (Available here: http://ow.ly/VKfM50AR1qV
• 2 tbsp. Peanut Butter
• ⅛ cup butter spray

First, we preheat the oven to 350 degrees. We then combine all the ingredients. Bake the ingredients at 350 degrees until golden brown. Spread the frosting over each cupcake once cooled. Enjoy every bite of these delicious cupcakes!

  • I thought weight loss would make me happy.

“Once I lose X lbs I know I will be happy!”
.
Does that sound like you? I know for the longest time, I thought once I hit my “goal weight” that I would be happy, and that’s it!
.
Well, what happened? I lost all my weight. But I still wasn’t happy. I was still stressed about food. Still stressed about not missing a workout.
.
I couldn’t eat that food cause it was “bad” and I’d over compensate at the gym if I did eat it. I was a slave to living a healthy lifestyle.
.
After a while, I found myself putting on some weight because I said “screw this”. I still had an all or nothing mindset even after losing all my weight.
.
It wasn’t until I learned how to find my balance that I have found happiness in my lifestyle. I love to fuel my body with lean protein sources, fruits, and veggies...
.
But I also love to go out to eat with friends or my fiancé and enjoy a burger and ice cream.
.
When I learned that we are what we do MOST of the time, and not what we do SOME of the time, I created the perfect balance for myself.

In a world full of extremes, here’s to finding YOUR balance. ♥️

  • 100KM CHALLENGE COMPLETE: 
For everyone who knows me, they would know running/cardio is definitely not one of my strong suits 😂😂! The second picture is a great representation of the efforts, tiring!! Nevertheless I set myself a challenge this June to try and run/walk 100km! I usually spend my June's gracing the cricket field and with gyms closed had to find an alternative during lockdown! ✌🏾 I battled through all the aches and pains in my legs during this and gradually I am seeing the pains are disappearing! I have definitely seen significant progress throughout my time exercising! Starting at over 51 minutes, I've come down to the early 40s to complete a 5K and getting faster and fitter! 💪🏾🏃🏾 Hampered by the heat this week but we go again!

I am glad to say I managed to complete the 100km challenge today with a couple of days to spare!! It shows if you put your mind to something and give yourself a target to reach, you can achieve it! Always challenge yourself! ⭐🎯 I will definitely be trying to keep up this cardio and eventually be able to run the entire 5K without walking breaks! I am getting busier again with work and study but will keep running and may incorporate home exercises! 😊

Been a while since I posted about myself on the main feed, hope everyone is staying safe! Normality will resume one day! Excuse the lockdown hair! ❤
