  • Today, as part of the free instagram challenge I am partaking in hosted by @alexbeadon, I was tasked with providing my followers with information of value.

So I took to my stories to talk about 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁, and provide tips on how you can achieve this.

I pride myself with being someone who practices having an positive mindset on a regular. In my opinion it is crucial to have a positive mindset if you are trying to live healthier - physically + mentally.

How do I do it?
• practicing gratitude every day
• taking my past negative experiences + making them positive
• putting a stop to negative self talk

When I say practice gratitude, I mean really practice gratitude. You gratitude list shouldn’t just be the three thoughtless sentences every day. To truly practice gratitude you have to really mean it.
Every morning I not only write my gratitude list in my app Day One Journal, but I also say them out loud really putting them out there in the universe.

I have my fair share of negative experiences/mistakes. I used to let these weigh me down with feelings of guilt + regret.
By sharing these experiences with others who may be struggling or in a similar situation that I had been in, I am actively changing them into a positive experience.
We cannot change the past, but by sharing our past we may be able to change someone else’s life.

Stopping negative self talk is probably one of the most beneficial things I have ever done when it comes to becoming healthier of mind.
I go out of my way to talk more positively to myself. So instead of telling myself “you are such a bad mom, and an awful human being” if I lose my temper, which happens cause #iamonlyhuman. I say “I know I should not have lost my temper, but it doesn’t make me a bad mom. I will apologize to my son, forgive myself, + commit to doing better.”
Positive self talk in my opinion is the highest form of self love you can practice!

Training your mind to find the positive in everything is no easy task. But it is so worth it!

  • Love this from @syattfitness!!! I know a lot of us who want change go through these process of thoughts, judging ourselves and comparing ourselves to others. Through out my own journey over the last 3 years it’s been a battle with my mind and body. I know what changes I want to make as a women. It’s not just weight loss it’s changing my mindset and way of life to achieve my ideal vision of the women I want to be, and yes I’m getting there but I still struggle a lot!!! #mindset #mindsetiseverything #mindsetmatters #visualization #believeinyourself

  • Wanna know exactly how to STOP making fear based decisions? ⁣⠀

First, it’s important to understand the difference between a fear based decision, and a choice made out of love. ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
1. Making decisions based out of fear means you “think” it will allow you to continue feeling comfortable, safe, and accepted. ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
2. Making a decision based out of love however can often be TERRIFYING at the start, ⁣but always feels good in the end. ⠀
⁣⠀
Why!? ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Because making a decision based out of love usually means there is risk factor involved. ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
This is scary for ALOT of people! ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
And most people aren’t willing to face their fears to fight for the life they want. ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
So they end up making a “safe” decision based out of fear. ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Are you ready to LEARN HOW to stop making decisions based out of fear? ⁣⠀
⁣⠀
And instead, start leaning into love? ⁣⠀

When a serious thoughts/questions comes up, the first thing you want to do before making a choice is...⁣⠀

1. Tune into your body/gut-the human body is more intelligent than we can even begin to comprehend. A lot of the times when we are faced with making a big decision, our physical body will start to react/respond before we even have time to think. Learn what it FEELS like in your body, depending on the choices you make. ⁣⠀

2. Ask yourself, “what possibility does this choice create for me?”- choosing out of love means that you are choosing with an open mind. It means that you understand life is full of limitless possibilities, and you don’t have to focus on what you may be giving up. Your only job is to focus on what you have to gain. ⁣⠀

3. “If nothing changes, then nothing changes.”- Sure, this may sound corny, but honey it is the truth! If you decide not to decide, you need to understand that this is still a choice. Choosing to play small or to not play at all, is always a decision based out of fear. ⁣⠀

It takes a lot more WILL POWER and STRENGTH to follow your heart. ⁣⠀

But trust me,⁣⠀

The breakthroughs you will experience along they way will remind you exactly why choosing love is much more rewarding than DECIDING on fear.

  • I am walking - schneller, besser und stärker. Puh 😅 die letzten Monate waren schon irgendwie hart. Erst bin ich in die komplette Selbständigkeit während der Corona Krise geschliddert. Da hatte ich zum erstmal Mal in meinem Leben echte Existenzängste. Ich konnte nicht richtig schlafen 🛏, ich hatte Angst 🙀, dass ich einen Fehler gemacht habe und zusätzlich habe ich mich gefragt, ob ich wirklich gut 😊 in dem bin, was ich mache. Und ob ich nicht noch mehr geben und besser sein kann. Was eine super wichtige Eigenschaft ist, wenn man in die volle Selbständigkeit geht (zwar arbeite ich seit Jahren an unterschiedlichen Projekten, aber ich hatte immer noch mein schönes Luxemburger Sicherheitsnetz). Als das weg war, plagte mich die Angst. Und Angst ist immer ein schlechter Begleiter im Leben. Respekt vor einer neuen Aufgabe ist in Ordnung. Angst hingegen blockiert und macht unfrei. Mein Tipp: 

🌱 immer vergegenwärtigen, was Du kannst und was Deine Stärken sind 

🌱 Red dich nicht KLEIN. Du bist der CEO 👨‍💼 Deines Gehirns. Denk in die richtige Richtung 🧭 - und zwar in eine positive. #mindset

🌱 Stell dir die Personen vor, die nie an dich geglaubt haben und wie sie reagieren, wenn du es geschafft hat. Mitleid bekommst du umsonst. Neid musst du dir erarbeiten. 

🌱 So schwer es manchmal ist, bleib Dir treu. Nimm keine Projekte an, die du nur teilweise kannst. Wo du dir ein Bein rausreißen musst und mehr Stunden investierst als du tatsächlich raus bekommst. Konzentriere dich auf deine Kernkompetenzen. 

🌱 Stell dich morgens vor den Spiegel und wiederhole mehrmals: „ich bin gut. Ich kann das. Und ich kann alles erreichen, was ich will.“ 

Zack! Selbstzweifel verschwunden und du kannst nur besser werden. In Einklang mit dir selbst. Bei mir hat es Wunder bewirkt. 😘😍❤️#mindsetiseverything #stetsundständig #selbständigkeit

Da hatte ich zum erstmal Mal in meinem Leben echte Existenzängste. Ich konnte nicht richtig schlafen 🛏, ich hatte Angst 🙀, dass ich einen Fehler gemacht habe und zusätzlich habe ich mich gefragt, ob ich wirklich gut 😊 in dem bin, was ich mache. Und ob ich nicht noch mehr geben und besser sein kann. Was eine super wichtige Eigenschaft ist, wenn man in die volle Selbständigkeit geht (zwar arbeite ich seit Jahren an unterschiedlichen Projekten, aber ich hatte immer noch mein schönes Luxemburger Sicherheitsnetz). Als das weg war, plagte mich die Angst. Und Angst ist immer ein schlechter Begleiter im Leben. Respekt vor einer neuen Aufgabe ist in Ordnung. Angst hingegen blockiert und macht unfrei. Mein Tipp:

    🌱 immer vergegenwärtigen, was Du kannst und was Deine Stärken sind

    🌱 Red dich nicht KLEIN. Du bist der CEO 👨‍💼 Deines Gehirns. Denk in die richtige Richtung 🧭 - und zwar in eine positive. #mindset

    🌱 Stell dir die Personen vor, die nie an dich geglaubt haben und wie sie reagieren, wenn du es geschafft hat. Mitleid bekommst du umsonst. Neid musst du dir erarbeiten.

    🌱 So schwer es manchmal ist, bleib Dir treu. Nimm keine Projekte an, die du nur teilweise kannst. Wo du dir ein Bein rausreißen musst und mehr Stunden investierst als du tatsächlich raus bekommst. Konzentriere dich auf deine Kernkompetenzen.

    🌱 Stell dich morgens vor den Spiegel und wiederhole mehrmals: „ich bin gut. Ich kann das. Und ich kann alles erreichen, was ich will.“

    Zack! Selbstzweifel verschwunden und du kannst nur besser werden. In Einklang mit dir selbst. Bei mir hat es Wunder bewirkt. 😘😍❤️ #mindsetiseverything #stetsundständig #selbständigkeit
