  • If you have the ability to fix it, then find time to do so or create the plan to fix it. It can be something as little as fixing the crooked picture on the wall to checking to see why your electricity bill is high this month. 
Now this may be a lot easier said than done for somethings, especially something like financial issues, but if you put the energy towards actually trying to fix these things you’ll get somewhere. Once it’s fixed or you’ve made progress, you can free up your mental capacity and feel a little better than before. Fixing those little things can make a big difference with how you feel overall. .

  • This is my new mantra. This thought dawned on me after taking part in a seminar from @iamjimfortin. We live in a world, created by our own thoughts, where we view our life as either abundant or lacking abundancy. This world in which we have shaped and made our own is built on the foundations of the Law of Attraction. Our THOUGHTS become FEELINGS which VIBRATES into the universe our energy and this becomes the FREQUENCY that the universe communicates with us. Some of us use this law to attract wealth, love, and security, whereas some of us use the law to repel that which we are trying to attract. 
I have been the latter type of person. I allowed my developmental trauma to shape my identity. I have never viewed my world with the lens of abundancy. I have rarely been grateful, truly, for the gifts the universe has given me. What I have done is worry, fret, panic, shove down, and ignore anything that involved money, responsibility to myself, or the care of myself. I did this out of fearing success and change. This created a very inhospitable environment for myself and those around me. It's taken time, as great things do, but I have finally opened my eyes and embarked on a true healing journey that has begun to reverse the belief system I carried for so long; a belief system borne from poverty, neglect, and abuse.
Me, this guy, Jay, the person writing this and sharing important insight about the connection between mindfulness, finances, and mental health is abundancy itself. Because I create the world that I'm in and I am creating abundancy. That's the energy I plan on vibrating into the universe!

This is why you “make time” to focus inwards and connect with Presence. 

It is not self-indulgent or selfish. 
It is the kindest thing you can do for EVERYONE. 

When you devote yourself to 10 minutes (or more) a day to resting in the energy of the heart, to meditation or to self-inquiry, you are practicing the end of fear and suffering - not just for you, but for everyone. 

The mind will give you countless lists of things to do, things to worry about and problems to solve. 

That is why dedication and practice are needed to put those thoughts, lists, fears and problems down. 

What could be more important than the loving peace of the heart?

3. Olahraga, karena akan mengeluarkan hormon endorfin, yaitu hormon kebahagiaan.

  • Whether you believe in manifestation or not. All actions first come from a thought. Our thoughts and how our memories work are strongly tied to emotions. Our subconscious minds stores all these memories, emotions beliefs, and values, which in turn filters and shapes our conscious thoughts where we then act it out. 

Much like how we are able to use so many cool apps and technology, that shape our world and how we do things - “our future”. Didn’t it all start with a thought which was shaped by their life experiences, emotions, beliefs, values - their subconscious mind?

Our future is created by those thoughts we conscious and subconscious have. That is why clients come in for hypnotherapy sessions, so that they can take control and shape the future that they want to create. After all, it all starts with a thought 💭 and feeling we get.

  • We all have a story- or as I like to call it- a journey.  And our journeys are not always only about us.  By living our lives authentically and by sharing ourselves, we have the power to inspire, validate, and transform others.⁠⠀

  • 🤯 My AH HA moment about nutrition as a nutritionist I didn’t learn in school.⁣⁣

The more I study people, food, and my own personal habits. The more I realize that eating foods that give your body energy to thrive has little to do about the actual food, and more to do around how food makes you feel.⁣
⁣⁣
Food can provide feelings around comfort, safety, energy, happiness, discipline, survival, and love.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And while it is very important to be mindful of what you eat...it is equally important to take inventory of how food makes you feel before and after you eat.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I know some people can think “Chioma it’s not that deep 😒” 😂⁣
⁣⁣
But for many people who experience trauma, stress, anxiety, or struggle with self worth on a regular basis. Food can feel like the only thing we can control these days.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If food is a coping mechanism for you, I would start with taking inventory on your emotions day to day. And if tracking that is too much, maybe just track what foods you crave when you feel like you don’t have control.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Our bodies respond to every single feeling we have, and get accustomed to craving what we continually feed our body.⁣
⁣⁣
The first step to addressing that craving, is to acknowledge its there in the first place. I promise you are not the only one who struggles with this 💛⁣⁣

The more I study people, food, and my own personal habits. The more I realize that eating foods that give your body energy to thrive has little to do about the actual food, and more to do around how food makes you feel.⁣
⁣⁣
Food can provide feelings around comfort, safety, energy, happiness, discipline, survival, and love.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And while it is very important to be mindful of what you eat...it is equally important to take inventory of how food makes you feel before and after you eat.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I know some people can think “Chioma it’s not that deep 😒” 😂⁣
⁣⁣
But for many people who experience trauma, stress, anxiety, or struggle with self worth on a regular basis. Food can feel like the only thing we can control these days.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If food is a coping mechanism for you, I would start with taking inventory on your emotions day to day. And if tracking that is too much, maybe just track what foods you crave when you feel like you don’t have control.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Our bodies respond to every single feeling we have, and get accustomed to craving what we continually feed our body.⁣
⁣⁣
The first step to addressing that craving, is to acknowledge its there in the first place. I promise you are not the only one who struggles with this 💛⁣⁣

  • I believe in angels. 
If you’re anything like me and you’re drawn towards the mystical components in life then you’re always looking for the hidden message. I often find pleasure in unraveling life’s messages and applying its meaning. Like anything in life though there needs to be a balance as not to miss out on what’s in front of you, like the angels “without” the hidden message, the ones we see, the ones we interact with daily. I am so grateful for those who have walked beside me in my life, have lifted me through some of life‘s most difficult challenges. This past year as I began a cumbersome path in Massage Therapy, Covid closed my business, studied and passed my state license exam, struggled with doctor visits, tried my best to be Mom.....I have been quietly guided.....encouraged and protected by my angels. I could not have found my way through without them. There is no hidden message and nothing to unravel. They saved me.

  • The past two months have been filled with work for me, working my day job, working on my paintings, working on developing a business, working on workshops, working on my yoga teacher training.

I'm incredibly grateful for all of these opportunities and most of the time they don't feel like work at all, but I've learned to recognize in myself when I need to take a rest.

This past weekend was fully dedicated to being slow, present, and restful. It's so important to listen to body cues like this because it allows us to keep passion in the things we do, so they don't burn us out. Thank you mother earth and thank you my dear friends for filling my cup for I am now so ready to give nothing but love to all my work ♥️

𝗜 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘁 - things look grim. Many of us have been up and down with anger, depression, and anxiety.  Cancellations, furloughs, lost income, absence of motivation are all around us. 
⁣
And, somehow, I’m passionately 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡. 
 
I remember hiking in the majestic Grand Tetons a few years ago and walking through an area that had been devasted by fire a few months prior. I was struck by the seemingly destroyed landscape - the blackened stumps, the charred landscape… and the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘!

Remember this: The forest always recovers from the fire! Yes, the landscape might look slightly different, but life 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 prevail. 
⁣
I have 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 in the passion, the resilience, and the determination of our community. I believe in its artistic powers, and in the dreams of the younger generations of artists. 
⁣
As tacky as it sounds, I believe that the flame 🔥 within us is much stronger than the fire consuming our industry. I have no idea what it will look like when the spotlights shine again soon, and I’m not saying it’s going to be easy.  But I KNOW this: 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 !❤️
