  • Following up from my previous post, I work in the Private Healthcare Industry (yes I’m not just a Instagram hoe! I have a real job! 😂) 
Are you aware how affordable some policies are?! People think they’re stupid expensive and yes maybe if your 60+ it probably is. However did you know the cost of cover to you is approx £1-£2 for every year of your life!? So mines around £35 a month. That’s way less than your average phone bill!! Lol 🤷🏼‍♀️
The only thing taken into account is your age & location so don’t think you won’t get covered if you smoke or are unfit! Also you can still get insured if you have pre-existing conditions (they will just exclude those things for the first 2 yrs of your policy as long as you can go symptoms treatments medication and advice free) but anything new is covered straight away! 

Honestly if you’ve ever thought about getting it; i urge you to just get a quote! There’s never been a better time with the NHS being under so much pressure!

Also If you have more than 1 child Aviva only make you pay for your eldest child the youngest ones are free! 😊

  • Tonight supper was a barbecue bacon cheeseburger with a side of coleslaw. I topped the burger with @ghughessugarfree bbq sauce and it was delish!! The slaw was simple with Cabbage, mayo, onion, and green olives.

  • Being back at work is draining me as it's been so long since I've set such an early alarm, so i was not feeling a HIIT session tonight, luckily I had mum coming over so I had to do it
We did 1-10 accumulator and did 4 exercises
Here is a little snippet just to show you all...why is it that off camera you do it perfectly and then as soon as the camera rolls things go wrong...watch to see me almost fall over doing lunges

It is very grounding, helps release tightness in chest from built up emotions, and has amazing overall health benefits. ⁣

+ 1-2 drops in my hand and pat on my face after washing and before my moisturizer⁣
+ in my owie roller with Lavender ⁣
+ in my immunity booster roller with Thieves + Lemon⁣
+ in a yoga mat spray to help enhance your practice or before meditation ⁣
+ 1 drop in my hand and make a tent over my nose and mouth to help with calm nerves and high stress moments ⁣

  • I will never be content with a sedentary life. I am forever seeking my next adventure. I’ve learned that life is way too short to not be out there doing the things that make me happy. 
When I was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia last year, I had a lot of anxiety over it. I was constantly fearful. I was extremely symptomatic and every single thump, skip, pause, race, and pound of my heart sent me in to a panic. I was having hundreds, sometimes THOUSANDS of episodes a day - I was in constant fight / flight mode 24/7. I didn’t talk about my inner turmoil with my family or friends, my husband knew very little. I didn’t want anyone to worry about me, so I suffered in silence. I was a prisoner in my mind, and to my every heartbeat. Anxiety and abnormal heart rhythms feed off of each other in a vicious cycle. Anxiety wasn’t the original cause of them, but it certainly fueled them to be 100x worse. 
Those who know me well know I am not a big crier, but for weeks on end - I would cry myself to sleep every single night because I was afraid I wouldn’t wake up in the morning. I stopped exercising. I stopped eating well, because why bother. I gained weight. I became depressed. I was a shadow of my former self but I hid it well. Every little thing I did, something as simple as going out to dinner, triggered a panic attack. I just wanted to hide in my bed all day. 
Thankfully, I have an extremely supportive husband who wouldn’t let me hide. It’s taken me SO MUCH inner work to get to where I am now. Accepting that I will be okay and I can have a beautiful, normal, full life despite a scary diagnosis took a lot of love and patience. 
Day by day I get little pieces of myself back. Reconnecting with nature. Journaling. TALKING about how I feel. Disconnecting from phones for just a few hours each day. Exercising again. Eating better. All of these things add up when it comes to your mental health. A healthy mind will ultimately lead you to a healthier body. If you find yourself strapped down by something that scares you, I want you to know that you are not alone and there is hope on the other side of fear. You are stronger than you know. You can and will overcome. 🙏🏼♥️

RECIPE 👩🏼‍🍳
🌼 Roast up your veggies for 15-20 minutes. I drizzle mine with olive oil and add garlic, black pepper, salt and italian seasoning.
🌼 Roll out your puff pastry (ready made obvs lol), cut into squares and pinch the corners together.
🌼 Make up your tomato base (I use ketchup, tomato purée, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and seasoning) and spread across the base.
🌼 Top with your roasted veggies and choice of cheese and egg wash the edges.
🌼 Bake for 20 minutes at 200’. ENJOY 😄

I’m so excited to share this recipe with y’all!! It started out as baked fajitas.. and somehow became grilled stuffed peppers. 🤣 Ryan and I made something similar for Father’s Day, but I wanted to leave the meat on the side so you have the option to make it vegan/vegetarian style. ⁣
⁣
The peppers are stuffed with a combo of a simple cilantro rice mixture, (cauliflower rice + basmati), black beans, and onion. The chicken is marinated in @sietefoods chipotle hot sauce, avocado oil, and a pinch of salt! It serves about 4 people with plenty of leftover chicken and rice for taco salads the next day! ⁣

I’ve always been someone who follows the quote, “leap and the net will appear.” I’ve enjoyed taking leaps, taking risks into the unknown, but I feel like recently I’ve found my little bubble and I’ve become quite comfortable😅. I want to say yes to being spontaneous, to new experiences, and to new opportunities that will allow me to grow.
