  • We all know how nutritious Oatmeal is, but still we are always limited with its uses.
So here im introducing you this great recipe of granola bars, made with crunchy old fashioned rolled oats and roasted almonds blended with a creamy almond butter and gooey honey, all these great ingredients together create the most yummy and healthy granola bars ever ♥️🙏

Almond granola bars.

Ingredients:
-3 cups old fashioned rolled oats.
-1 cup creamy almond butter.
-2/3 cup honey.
-2/3 cup almonds.

Method:

- Heat oven to 350, add oats and almonds to a small baking sheet then bake 5 minutes, stir and bake another 3 to 5 minutes until lightly toasted.and let cool completely.

- Whisk  honey with almond butter, combine almonds,oats together and mix.

- line a small tray with parchment paper, put mixture and put another parchment paper on top and press with a measure cup or so to make everything in one level.

- Refrigerete for 2 hours then cut into bars.keep in a closed container for few weeks in refrigerator.

  • This is my new coach, @nasmax_fitboss!

I've known of and interacted with Nas through various platforms over the last couple of years, initially through the @manvfat forum (RIP) and more recently on here.

I signed up to Nas's mailing list a long time ago and saw he was looking for a couple more clients for August. I've been in the market for a coach for a few months, but as per Andy, I decided to put it off until September to see if I could do it myself.

I asked a question about macros on one of Nas's stories which developed into a discussion about my goals and I booked in for a free 15 - 30 minute chat about my goals. After 90 minutes of in depth discussion, I decided there was no point in putting it off; I signed up for 12 weeks.

What I like about Nas is his no nonsense, simplistic approach to weight loss. It's not about making drastic changes immediately, following a new fad or going from zero to marathon training overnight, it's about adding 2 to 3 simple changes a week, which over time will add up to some serious life changing habits.

Not only that, but Nas is relatable; he's done it himself, and to me, that's really important. He said to me that in 12 weeks, he wants me to be in a position that I no longer need him and you can't say fairer than that!

Looking forward to the next 12 weeks, it's a fresh start for me, someone to learn from and be accountable to and right now, that's exactly what I need!

  • Even though Missouri has been super warm I still have been craving savory and comforting dishes like this VEGAN YELLOW CURRY. Made with the creamiest yellow coconut curry sauce and paired with tons of fresh vegetables like onions, potatoes, carrots, and red bell pepper. 

Served with rice and topped with fresh basil and crushed red peppers. This curry is simple to make and is vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free.

  • I wasn’t sure what I fancied when I started making lunch today, but luckily I ended up with this tasty tomato & herb quinoa dish which defo was a good decision 

For this I cooked half a cup of quinoa in some veggie stock (I use a paste from @nine_meals_from_anarchy ) whilst I cooked some freshly grown kale, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in fresh basil, garlic powder, oregano and thyme

Then I just added it all together and made a sauce out of sundried tomato paste and balsamic vinegar (thinned out with a splash of water) which I stirred through, before serving with more fresh basil and some Mediterranean herb pumpkin seeds from @simplyseedz for extra flavour and crunch🌿✨

  • AD  KIWI, COCONUT & LIME PANCAKES 🥝🥞🌴. Bring a tropical start to your weekend with these fruity kiwi, coconut & lime pancakes, which are perfect for a tasty breakfast or brunch 😍. I've used @zespri_kiwi_uk SunGold kiwis in the pancakes as they have a sweet, golden flesh which is ideal for adding to pancakes and, unlike their green cousin, you can eat the smooth outer flesh so there's no need to peel 🥝.
The SunGold kiwis are high in vitamin C, containing twice as much as an orange, so are great for supporting your immune system as well as being delicious 😋. They are available in all major retailers, including Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco & Morrisons, just look out for the Zespri sticker on the fruit.

Recipe (serves 1):
🥝 Wash and chop a SunGold kiwi into chunks.
🥝 In a large bowl, mix the kiwi with 30g self raising flour, 20g dessicated coconut, the zest and juice of half a lime, 1 tsp runny honey and 1 large egg, until a smooth batter is formed.
🥝 Heat a non-stick frying pan with a small amount of coconut oil, then spoon in the mixture, using around 1-1.5 tbsp per pancake.
🥝 Cook on a medium heat until tiny bubbles start to form then carefully flip and cook for a further 2 minutes. Repeat until you have used all of the batter.
🥝 Serve and stack your pancakes with a spoonful of coconut yoghurt, some slices of SunGold kiwi and a sprinkling of dessicated coconut. Enjoy!

  • AD KIWI, COCONUT & LIME PANCAKES 🥝🥞🌴. Bring a tropical start to your weekend with these fruity kiwi, coconut & lime pancakes, which are perfect for a tasty breakfast or brunch 😍. I've used @zespri_kiwi_uk SunGold kiwis in the pancakes as they have a sweet, golden flesh which is ideal for adding to pancakes and, unlike their green cousin, you can eat the smooth outer flesh so there's no need to peel 🥝.
    The SunGold kiwis are high in vitamin C, containing twice as much as an orange, so are great for supporting your immune system as well as being delicious 😋. They are available in all major retailers, including Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco & Morrisons, just look out for the Zespri sticker on the fruit.

    Recipe (serves 1):
    🥝 Wash and chop a SunGold kiwi into chunks.
    🥝 In a large bowl, mix the kiwi with 30g self raising flour, 20g dessicated coconut, the zest and juice of half a lime, 1 tsp runny honey and 1 large egg, until a smooth batter is formed.
    🥝 Heat a non-stick frying pan with a small amount of coconut oil, then spoon in the mixture, using around 1-1.5 tbsp per pancake.
    🥝 Cook on a medium heat until tiny bubbles start to form then carefully flip and cook for a further 2 minutes. Repeat until you have used all of the batter.
    🥝 Serve and stack your pancakes with a spoonful of coconut yoghurt, some slices of SunGold kiwi and a sprinkling of dessicated coconut. Enjoy!
