L'hip thrust, a differenza dello squat raggiunge il picco di difficoltà e tensione quando la muscolatura target é in accorciamento massimo. 
Quindi la fase dell'esecuzione sui cui dovremo concentrarci maggiormente, e a cui dovremo dare più importanza, sarà proprio la fase di accorciamento. 

Durante l'esecuzione non é necessário ricercare un grande allungamento che potrebbe sovraccaricare la muscolatura lombare togliendo tensione in fase di risalita proprio al gluteo. 
Più semplicemente portare troppo in basso il bilanciere creerà maggiore difficolta e peggiorerà la linea di lavoro a discapito del picco di contrazione. 

Nelle foto si nota come io non stia scendendo molto e questo potrebbe fare pensare ad un rom incompleto e una esecuzione rubata; in realtà tale esecuzione rimane é compresa proprio nel tratto più difficile; il che assicura un ottima tensione meccanica che rende efficace l'esercizio.

Occorre pazienza, occorre investire tempo, fatica , macinare ripetizioni su ripetizioni .
Dovete sbagliare , si avete capito bene, sbagliare per poter imparare i movimenti più elementari, farli propri, "sentire" il muscolo target, il tutto per "giocare" meglio...
Non avere fretta! Questo è il segreto.

  • This recipe I got from my vegan friends @fitveganchef and I feel in love with it💞

You’ll need 3 incidences and only 40 min of prep time. This SAVORY LUPINI BEAN SEITAN is delicious, easy to make & packed with 31 grams of protein 💪🏽per serving.

Makes 4 servings 
🔝MACROS 🔝per serving: 
31g protein/11g carbs/1g fat

Ingredients

✔️150g lupini beans (I used a bag of @bramisnacks beans)
✔️6 ounces of water
✔️120g vital wheat gluten
 ✔️20g nutritional yeast

⬇️Instructions⬇️

1️⃣Preheat the oven to 350°F, line a baking dish with aluminum foil, and lightly spray it with non-stick spray (honesty if you don't have oils spray you can skip it) 

2️⃣In a blender, add the lupini beans, water and blend until you get a smooth batter consistency.

3️⃣In a large mixing bowl, add the vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast.

4️⃣Once you have folded in all of the wet ingredients, knead the mixture with your hands to form a dough.

5️⃣ Using your hands place it on the aluminum foil-lined baking dish.

6️⃣Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake 20 minutes covered. After 20 minutes, remove the cover and bake an additional 20 - 30 minutes.

Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve, and enjoy!

  • Cabeza hacia abajo, cuello flexionado, hombros hacia adelante y el área dorsal con pronunciada curvatura por tiempo prolongado, es un cóctel no solo para ganarnos dolor de espalda, cabeza y/o cuello. También es un pasaje directo a un aumento de sensaciones de ansiedad, depresión, irritabilidad y poca motivación para realizar nuestras actividades. 
¿Porque? Porque el diafragma está conectado a la columna vertebral, a las costillas y tiene estrecha relación con el metabolismo (sistema digestivo), entonces, si estamos encorvad@s todo el tiempo o mucho tiempo, la movilidad y por ende su funcionamiento, se ve afectado, provocando una respiración irregular, comparable a estados de ansiedad y stress. (Respiraciones cortas, superficiales debido a la opresión ejercida en los pulmones y por ende menor oxigenación de los tegidos, incluyendo el cerebro) y por si todo eso fuera poco, el peso de la cabeza hacia abajo, sobre carga los músculos cervicales, generando cuadros de tensión, dolor en el cuello y el TAN indeseable dolor de cabeza.

Entonces... Nos observamos y nos ponemos derechit@s? Porque haciendo consciente nuestra postura, lograremos sostenerla y corregirla cada vez que nos demos cuenta 😃

  • Paella en Risotto, twee totaal verschillende gerechten die juist zoveel op elkaar lijken. Grote pan, niet puur koken, maar laten pruttelen op hoog vuur met allemaal andere ingrediënten. Ze willen allebei nooit alleen zijn. Beide zuid-Europeanen met temperament. Beide hebben ze veel fans, maar weinig die ze echt kunnen begrijpen.

Risotto is de zorgzame van het stel. Hij omhelst je op een winterse dag en helpt je door moeilijke tijden. Hij is rustig en intelligent. Denkt met je mee en is een harde werker, constant bezig: roeren, roeren, roeren. Zacht, romig en helend. Hij is er voor je als de zon niet schijnt en heeft ook geen eigen belang. Risotto past zich aan jou aan.

In tegenstelling tot zijn broer is Paella de wilde gangmaker van de twee. Looking for a party? You’re looking for Paella! Met je vrienden om de tafel en genieten van stevige, enerverende smaken. Paella is wild, gedurfd en laat zich door niemand iets wijs maken. En o wee als je het beter denkt te weten, want dan komen de vrienden van Paella je halen. Je roert hem? Zijn vrienden staan al met fakkels voor je deur. Geen saffraan? Timmer je doodskist maar vast, want ze komen je halen. Paella laat niet met zich sollen, maar zolang je hem in zijn waarde laat, is het je beste vriend en zorgt hij altijd voor een feest. #paella

  • 🦋 FINDING MOTIVATION 🦋

Everyone struggles with lack of motivation and some days you really aren’t feeling it. This week is like that for me but here are a few things that I find give me motivation 👇🏻

Remember why you started:
Look through progress pictures if you have any and look at how far you have come. Even if you are a beginner you have taken a big step to start. Write down your goals and why you started fitness in the first place. Get excited and visualise yourself in the future having completed your goals!

Inspiration:
For me watching workout videos on YouTube gives me motivation. It gives me workout ideas and makes me excited for my next session
⠀
Planning:
If you’re not feeling it today, write down a gym plan for tomorrow and the rest of the week. Just because it’s not Monday doesn’t mean you can’t create a new weekly plan. Don’t write off the whole week. Creating a plan and a start date will build up the anticipation for your workouts and get you excited to start!

Start your workout:
I’ve had so many occasions where I’ve really not felt a workout but I’ve forced myself to start and it ended up being the best session ever! Try and make a start and most of the time you’ll actually want to finish it and you’ll feel so much better after.

Rest day:
If you’re still struggling for motivation then use today as a rest day. There’s nothing worse than feeling guilty knowing you have to fit in a workout at some point today when you really aren’t feeling it. So write in your plan that today is a rest day and you’ll smash it tomorrow. Sometimes a rest day is all you need to feel motivated again!

Guilt?:
I always feel guilty if I haven’t done my workouts to plan. I hate wasting the day. But sometimes this happens and the most important thing (and I tell myself this too) is not to feel guilty. Fitness isn’t a race. You have your whole life to complete your goals. Missing one day isn’t going to change that. You’ve already come so far and you shouldn’t beat yourself up about it.  I’ve been training for 2 years so realistically why should I feel guilty for missing a few days? It’s a massive life commitment and you should be proud that you’ve stuck it out!

This is my post workout side eye to myself.... B, is this your idea of a good time?!? HIIT cardio AND legs back to back on the same day??? 😅😂
Honestly I knew today's workout was going to be challenging and I procrastinated a bit this morning because..... hard work is hard. But as soon as I pressed play and focused in I loved every sweaty second because I know that hard work is how I am going to achieve my goals.

1. Cereal is better when it’s gone soggy 🥣

2. The corner brownie is the best brownie 🤤

3. Stuffing is just not nice 😬

4. Ketchup is the worst condiment 🍅

5. Seafood over meat any day! 🍣

6. Oreos are extremely overrated 🥛

7. Sprouts are awfully underrated! 🥬

8. White chocolate is nasty and shouldn’t be classed as chocolate 🍫

9. Mr Whippy is the best kind of ice cream - especially with sherbet, raspberry sauce, sprinkles and a flake 🍦

10. I really don’t like pork - even bacon and sausage 🥓

11. Bounty’s are a god tier chocolate bar 🥥

12. Pickles are really good! Give me a jar and I’ll eat them straight 🥒

13. I can’t stand fizzy drinks - they make my nose hurt and give me hiccups 🥤

14. Mashed potato is boring and doesn’t taste good. Also the texture is grim 🥔

15. I’ve never tried peanut butter 🥜
