This move by Chris Paul is too ELITE ⁣
What would you name this move? 👇🏽⁣

Using multiple crossovers to keep the defense guessing is a major key 🔑 CP3 is a master at stopping on a dime which allows him to utilize spin moves and pullback moves super effectively🔥⁣

  • Crazy to think Tobias Harris has more career points than Kawhi Leonard and were drafted in the same year. 😳 Did you know this⁉️

Something that distinguishes plyometric exercises that target elastic energy recoil is that these movements will generally target the foot-ankle complex, while exercises that target the Stretch Reflex Potentiation/CNS Stimulation are more likely to also involve more movement at the knee and hip. For that reason, I’ve found the best results when these exercises are done WITHOUT SHOES. Since most athletes tend to have a hard time moving without shoes (that right there should maybe say enough about the possible necessity), I’ll use these elastic energy recoil exercises primarily EXTENSIVELY. Which means that the execution is rhythmic, sub-maximal, and relaxed, as we’re trying to minimize energy cost.
.
Since a lot of athletes are likely to be unaccustomed to shoeless plyometrics, I’d say edge on the side of caution (with volume and intensity).
.
Personal story: I had years of strength training experience, but no exposure to exercises that targeted elastic energy recoil. My RSI (measurement tool: Drop Jump) had always been pretty low compared to my Standing Vertical Jump. Without doing actual Drop Jumps during the first 4ish months that I implemented the elastic energy recoil work (primarily without shoes), my RSI shot up (this was the first time that I’d ever see a real increase in my RSI).
.
Side side note: don’t let your ego get in the way and try to act cool on high boxes. That will defeat the purpose of elastic energy recoil work. Side side side note: I know that the GCT on the second vid is too long (and thus likely won’t fall in the elastic energy category), whoops. Lower bar should solve that ‘problem’.
