  • Mit Kräuter-Feta gefüllte Hähnchenbrust und Gurken-Tomatensalat 😋

#lowcarb und richtig geile Nährwerte !!!

Für 2 Personen:

2 Hähnchenbrüste a 300g vom Fett und sonstiges befreien. Waschen, abtupfen und kleine Ritze einschneiden, um sie fächerartig zu füllen. 
100g Feta, je eine handvoll Schnittlauch und Krause Petersilie mit etwas Pfeffer vermengen. 
Diese Mischung in die Ritzen füllen und in eine gefettete Auflaufform geben. Eine halbe Scheibe Chesterkäse klein zupfen und drüber geben (alternative Gouda oder Mozarella und dann eventuell mit Pfeffer nachwürzen).
Bei 180°C etwa 30min backen, bis das Hähnchen durch ist. 

In der Zwischenzeit 200g Gurke und 150g Tomaten in mundgerechte Stücke schneiden und mit etwas Schnittlauch, Salz und Pfeffer vermengen. Am Besten in der Schüssel, in der ihr auch den Feta vermengt habt. So nimmt der Salat nochmal ein paar feine Aromen auf (mein Handy macht daraus "geile".. passt auch 😅😜)

Pakar Obstetrik dan Ginekologi, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya, Prof Dr Jamiyah Hassan, berkata ukur lilit pinggang melebihi ukuran selamat adalah tanda amaran seseorang berisiko mengalami NCD seperti kencing manis, darah tinggi dan jantung.

  • Hyperinsulinemia (too much insulin in the blood stream) as a consequence of frequent eating and excess carbohydrate ingestion appears to be a major driver of clinical consequences (bloating, abdominal sensitivity, reflux, change in bowels) but also metabolic troubles such as fatty liver, prediabetes, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease and cancer (insulin is in some ways a growth factor). 

Time restricted eating, and particularly lower carbohydrate intake are effective in driving down insulin levels and reverse some of the above conditions. 

There are different forms of fasting such as 16:8 or an entire 2-3 of fasting. Hydration with water and mineral supplementation is essential. 

Discussion with a medical professional and dietician is strongly advised, especially if patients are already on certain medications (e.g. insulin injections or diabetic tablets)

Heaviest weight: 498lbs; Surgery Weight: 477; Current Weight: 200;  Many that follow me know I have never been ashamed to admit I had #weightlosssurgery & if I could do all over again I would have done it sooner. I never had the surgery due to me being unhappy with who I was or how I looked. I’ve always had pride & self confidence in who I am no matter how I look. The choice I made was due to needing to lose weight rapidly for a future brain surgery  for #chiarimalformation but along this journey I have learned so much about my relationship with myself & have a healthier food. I’ve gained a 2nd chance at life to be here longer for my family.   • One of the biggest questions I get is, “What did you eat on campus?” Followed by, “What do you eat now?” 🤣🤣🤣
I GET IT!!! Food and nutrition is 80% of weight loss and good health, yet it wasn’t a focus on TV. 
I will be using this platform, as well as Teri Aguiar on FB, to post some meals and tips starting tomorrow.  Some will be straight from Biggest Loser campus and others, just the saving grace of this busy mom feeding a family on a schedule and a budget:)
