  • Leg Day focusing on Hip Flexibility! 🤸🏼‍♀️ after sitting in a car for SO LONG and sleeping on a blowup bed for WAY more days than I should’ve had to, my lower back and hip flexibility are all kinds of messed up 🥴 So for my first workout now that I’m officially living beachside, 🏖 I got up early and braved the chilly morning breeze for a workout that targets LOTS of hip action to get them MOVING again! 💫

1️⃣ reverse lunge + leg raise — you’ll work your glutes from multiple angles with this mashup. Make sure your front foot is very stable and lift your back leg as high as you can
2️⃣ rainbow reverse leg raises — move your leg along as high of a arc as possible (as you can see I’m pretty stiff right now), from your side to directly behind
3️⃣ side lunge + static lunge — try to twist into the static lunge without fully lifting yourself back up to challenge that hip rotation smoothness and flexibility
4️⃣ alternating curtsy lunges — stay low in order to keep your booty engaged

Going down the list, complete each exercise for 10-15 reps, taking only about a 15-second breather between exercises. After 4️⃣, take a longer rest before starting again! Complete the full circuit 4 times 🍑 and fuel your recovery right with @livbody 💙 I drank my peach/mango Greens & Superfoods with a scoop of orange/mango Hydrating Aminos during my workout, then followed up with Fruity-O’s Lean Vegan Protein 😋

  • I went running this morning 🥺 !! I’ve said this before but dealing with these bad knees has been downright annoying. Running used to be one of my favorite hobbies to clear my mind. Cycling has been my new form of cardio but honestly there is nothing like completely zoning out and enjoying a good run. A big shout out to these @newbalance shoes. They’ve been the only thing that has allowed me to get back out there pain free!
