  • 5 MINUTE MEDITERRANEAN VEGAN 🌱 BREAKFAST TOAST 🌱
 👇🏼Toasted Sourdough with Blistered Cherry tomatoes, Pan fried Zucchini, Olives, Nutritional Yeast, Mint, Lemon, Balsamic Vinegar, Sesame seeds, Hemp seeds. SO GOOD 😌😋
👇🏼Now that I’m not eating any meat and solely focussing mostly on a plant based / pescatarian way of eating seeing the benefits in 3 months have really opened up my eyes, my healing journey is now at a whole now level simply from excluding the meat which caused so much inflammation in my body, for years. 
🙏🏽✨I am now trying to ease off the eggs, dairy as the eggs and dairy also cause my tummy to get upset and seem to lower my immunity. Little baby steps though. Listening to my body along the way. It’s truly been a journey of self discovery. Intuitive eating and simply excluding what doesn’t make me feel well has contributed so much towards my healing journey. 🙏🏽✨🌱I’m now still mostly eating plant based but leaning towards a Vegan way of eating as it personally is doing me wonders to say the least. Calming down my inflammation drastically with Plant Based foods & yes excluding additives as much as possible 🌼
🌞 Started the day with this delicious sourdough and now a smoothie packed with easy to digest whole food goodness.   • One of the most undervalued modalities! If you do this everyday I guarantee it’ll make you feel better & move better.

Not only does it treat injury/pain, it’ll prevent it to. If you have tight legs, wear heels, tight hips, hip problems, sit a lot, walk a lot, had a really tough workout, etc., give this a try.

With a lacrosse ball, golf ball, or even a frozen bottle, roll out the bottom of your foot for 30sec a few times during the day. When you hit a spot with more pressure pause on that spot until it is worked out.

This method can improve circulation and range of motion and reduce postworkout soreness. It can even help ease some of the symptoms of plantar fasciitis.

It’s simple, easy and fast. You can do it anywhere & at anytime. Fix your problems and prevent them from happening and your body will thank you in return!❤️

  • Pablo Picasso believed that one’s hair possessed something magical. 

We couldn’t agree more.

He believed that it had to be cared for properly and that given into wrong hands, it could affect a person even after being cut. He would allow a barber to cut and dispose of his hair, only after fully coming to trust that person.

es una galletota healthy que les recomiendo para después de hacer ejercicio o alguna actividad física☀️

Ingredientes:
Avena
Amaranto
1 plátano maduro
spread maca canela
Extra: cacao nibs

Preparación: 
1. Machacar el plátano
2. Revolver con avena y amaranto 
3. Agregar maca canela y cacao nibs como extra
4. Darle forma y ponerla en el hornito 20 mins a 180 grados
5. Ponerle más maca canela encima o tú spread favorito y disfrutaaar

  • *Trigger Warning/Content Warning: This post talks about eating disorder recovery.* As a teenager, bulimia was my secret addiction. I remember the pain, my eyes swelling with tears and one hell of a sore throat ... but at the time I couldn’t break away. I had control. Well, at least I felt in control. I was the varsity cheerleader. The one with the obnoxious laugh (that hasn’t changed) and to others I seemed to have my shit together, but no one knew about my restriction with food, the destruction I was causing to my body, and the time spent hovering over the toilet. Binging and purging. Binging and purging, sometimes multiple times in a day. Bulimia no longer consumes my thoughts. I am free and I haven’t looked back since. Never will. #recoveryispossible

1 year ago today, I was welcomed into the SWAT family. Within a few months, I already felt like I’ve known everyone for years. At the top of the year, I had set high financial, professional and personal goals for myself. Momentum was in my favour, within 6 months I had surpassed previous benchmarks that took me 2 years to create (in Halifax).
.
Then hellooooo COVID, bye bye clinic. Oddly enough, I never downgraded my goals, and you never should under any circumstance. When you know what you bring to the table, coupled with the support and reassurance from your team, those goals should never have to change.
.
It’s been a journey and I know we’re just getting started...again.

Beyond excited for the rest of 2020. Much love SWAT family❤️.

  • [REIKI MASTER LEVEL] Staying grounded, finding inner peace and keeping a clear mind while moving forward can be difficult, especially in times like these. 
Reiki came to me at unexpected time 3 years ago and given my own path, I was elated to hear about Ra Sekhi and the natural connection to music, that I will keep delving into. 
This training perfectly ended on the birthday of my late friend, producer and first DJ @pavibeats . I dedicate this to you bro 🙏🏾
More awareness, more power, more responsibilities. I will keep doing my part, as best as possible, and pledge to help my community even more (including more content coming soon!), as (mental) wellness is even more capital today (#mindoverbody).
