My skin has a lot of manchas (blemishes) around my chin area.  It is where I normally get my hormonal breakouts.  Hopefully using turmeric will assist in diminishing those manchas.

▫️I do not have the recommended Lavender ACV Toner to mix w/ the paste, so I used Vitamin E Oil instead because this paste STAINS!  Staining or not, I am needing some major scar reduction, so I’ll keep y’all posted on the progress!

Le Kali yuga, l'âge de fer traduit par: l'âge de l'ignorance et des querelles.
Alors comment essayer de sortir de cette ignorance?
En ayant une pratique spirituelle quotidienne je pourrai petit à petit voir les choses plus clairement et goûter à l'amour, le vrai le pure et le plus exaltant 🌿🌠
Ainsi, petit à petit nos peurs, nos anxiétés, stress, incertitudes disparaissent et font place à quelque chose de plus vrai et nous fait comprendre notre origine et celle de ce monde, notre vraie nature et vers quelle direction aller.
Donner du sens à la vie, à l'amour.

Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow color.

It has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb.
Recently, science has started to back up what Indians have known for a long time — it really does contain compounds with medicinal properties. 

These compounds are called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin. 
Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

When a spice like this gives you plenty of benefits and nutrients then why not use it more often!

  • Over the last few days, there has been a lot of buzz about the benefits of drinking "golden milk" or "haldi doodh." Every Indian mother has her own delicate recipe of this incredible brew and we have all grown up hearing her say over and over again how drinking this would miraculously solve most of your problems. Yes, she has been saying this before the humble "haldi doodh" has received the cult status on social media. I would love to share with you the way my mom has taught me to make this. Now, since I don't take much of dairy, I had simply replaced milk with cashew milk. You may use either.

Ingredients:
1 cup cashew milk
1/4 tsp haldi powder
A pinch or two of cardamom powder
A pinch of coarsely ground pepper
1 clove
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
2-3 strands of saffron soaked in 1 tbsp cashew milk
A tiny pinch of Himalayan pink salt
1 tsp organic honey
(Ginger is optional...I don't use it because my mother has a thyroid imbalance)
Dried rose petals 

Method:
Take the milk in a saucepan. Add all the ingredients except the honey and rose petals and bring the haldi doodh to a good boil or two. Once done, turn the heat off and strain the liquid. Blend it quickly in high speed just once and pour the turmeric latte in a cup. Add honey and sprinkle the rose petals. Enjoy it warm!

This concoction has great antiviral, antibacterial and even antifungal properties, improves mood, is a great antiinflamatory therapy (especially because it's dairy free) and so could be great for joint pain.

  • Les prometí un posteo comparando los diferentes azúcares y su valor nutricional. Hoy le di lugar a estas 3 opciones que aunque parece no difieren mucho en el porcentaje de azúcar:

Azúcar blanca : 💯 azúcar y nada más. Un shot de energía que te da un sacudon y luego baja la glucemia en sangre , resultado —> Queres + azúcar 👎
.
Azúcar mascabo: 98.09 azúcar ( casi igual que la blanca ) con algun otro mineral ( calcio , hierro ) en muy BAJA proporción que la hace un poco mejor pero no hace a la diferencia ya que son dosis muy bajas. 
.
Miel 🍯: 82.4 de azúcares ( una cantidad menor ) , pero esto se debe a que viene más húmeda, tiene un % de agua de : 17.1 y una insignificante cantidad de minerales
.
¿Cuál es la conclusión? 🤔🥄🍯
Todas varían dentro de un rango elevado de azúcares ( son CALÓRICAS ) , hay diferencias en cuanto a la absorción , por ejemplo: la azúcar blanca es de rápida y la mascabo tiene una absorción más lenta ! Punto a favor 
La miel en lugar de tener solo glucosa también tiene fructosa ( punto a favor ) , y la absorción es rápida = energía al instante.

Conclusión 2 : Elegí endulzar de una forma más natural, una opción puede ser con frutas deshidratas : Ejemplo : Dátiles ( súper dulces para utilizar en preparaciones ), Hojas de Stevia , y una menor cantidad de las opciones mencionadas 👏

Tip ayurvedico: Si tenes mayor energía de Vata: elegí azúcar mascabo , si tenes mayor energía de Kapha : elegí miel , si tenes mayor energía de Pitta : elegí azúcar mascabo . Y además , sustituí una proporción mayoritaria de consumo diario de azúcares por endulzantes naturales ✅

  • 🌿My Take on Fad diets 🌿
Follow a diet if it fullfills the following criteria:
🙏Diet should be simple  and easy to cook
🙏The Food included in your diet  shouldn’t be expensive
🙏If your grand mom approves it , follow it 
🙏Don’t cut off  food you been eating all your life ( specially staple like rice chapatti and roti )
🙏Make sure your diet contains carbohydrates,  proteins and fats ( no single group)
🙏Food included in diet should be seasonal ( example  one cannot eat mangoes in winter , should be eaten  in summer
🙏food should be local ( specially fruit grown in other  part of  the world will not do any good to you)
 🙏diet should be modified from person to person.. 
🙏Diet should Focus on taking care of AGNi. Nomatter how good food you eat if you are not able to digest it , you won’t able  to absorb any  nutrients 

NOTE :Inform your dietitian if you are suffering from diabetes/ hypertension or any major disease so that diet can be modified  based on your p

  • 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗜 𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧?

That's the question I most often get when explaining that our digestive capacity is weakest during the morning hours, and that we should have breakfast that is easy to digest, but that will also spark our digestive fire. This will create healthy gut lining resulting in balanced hormones and a period without pain or other symptoms.

This means your breakfast should be:
- Augmenting (sweet in taste not sugary)
- Preferably freshly cooked grains
- A couple of spices to stimulate digestion

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲:
Recipe: (for +/- 2-3 people)
2 tbsp oil (coconut, sesame or sunflower according to constitution and season)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp salt
Pinch of fresh ground ginger
1 cup rice ( I use basmati)
Water as needed
Dates and or raw nuts are optional
1 tbsp of maple syrup and some ghee is nice!
*Feeling cold? Add a pinch of ground clove!

Preparation:
1. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker or pan.
2. Add the spices.
3. Pour in the rice over with water and cook until tender add more water as needed.
6. Add the nuts about halfway through. (don't eat the nuts raw)
7. The dates can go in at the end.
8. You can make it as soupy as you like.
