  • “Maritime Touring”, as aptly captioned by @thewinglesswonder about his PTS Maritime Blue (maritimblau; 38B) 911 GT3 Touring sitting pretty on a coastal road in Zeeland, Netherlands.

I had the chance to see the car in person when Denzel and his father joined us to celebrate the birthday of @oakgruenmetallic’s Eva. This example remains one of my all time favorite GT3s, for it is not only incredibly well specced, but also thoroughly driven and enjoyed.

For more details on this car, scroll down on my feed to see the extensive story we did when Denzel took delivery of the car. Also check out @thewinglesswonder’s page for more of his adventures with the wingless wonder. #PTSRS

  • Might as well finish the trifecta of white car posts with a very driven white GT2RS.

  • Look what is now on display at @stuttgartporsche, the largest Porsche dealership in San Paulo, Brazil. The race car is presented in amazing Sachs livery, one of the seven iconic retro liveries offered by Porsche for the new 935. The first Sachs liveried 935 with a beautiful coloring of orange, blue and light blue was Dick Barbour Racing’s 1980 Kremer Porsche 935 K3 which had the number 70. That car is shown in picture 10. Limited to just 77 units, this chassis #04 racer is the only vehicle of its kind in Brazil.

One particular striking feature of the new 935 is the wooden gear knob in the cockpit, which was designed to replicate the ones used in the 917 Le Mans race cars from the early 70s. The Porsche 917 had to use a wooden knob to prevent the driver's hand from blistering because the heat that was transmitted from the drivetrain made its way to the original metal shift-knobs. This beautiful nod to the racing heritage was first presented on the Carrera GT in 2003 which had the wooden gear knob as the standard option, and then started a sort of wood gold rush as various accessory manufacturers struggled to produce the 917/CGT-style shift knobs for people to put on their everyday 911s.

A big thank you to @edison_carvalho for sending over these beautiful photographs.

  • Presenting a brand new PTS Viola Metallic (3AE) 911 Speedster, just delivered to our friends at @championporsche in Pompano Beach, Florida. This example sports wheels in satin black, LED headlights, and full bucket seats.
⠀
But never mind those features, just look at how incredible the color looks under the Floridian sun - a stark contrast to how it looks virtually black in the shade. This color often is confused with Amethyst Metallic, which sports a similar contrast but takes on a much more burgundy tone. This historic Porsche color has become a deservingly popular PTS choice.
⠀
The interior sports a well coordinated theme of stitching, embroidery, and even seat belts in Racing Yellow throughout. Racing Yellow definitely seems to be the choice of interior contrast for other Viola 911s in general.
⠀
Many thanks to Wilson from Champion for the exclusive photos of this car. What are your thoughts on this example? #PTSRS

  • Presenting my good friend @thecaraba’s stunning PTS Dark Sea Blue (meerblau; A5G) 911 Speedster, appropriately pampered by the talented folks at @topazdetailing in London, UK. Chassis #0991/1948, and @thecaraba only found out after getting his hands on it.
⠀
As for the rest of the exterior, LED headlights and wheels in satin black round out the look (stay tuned on the latter). The Dark Sea Blue exterior pairs oh so well with the interior done in Leather-to-Sample Cognac that covers the full bucket seats, lower dashboard, and center console lid. Keen eyed readers will note the additional Cognac highlights found on the steering wheel and column stitching, as well as the gear boot trim and even the 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel. The sum product of this is an incredibly organic and restrained spec that just works.
⠀
This will join Artemis, a thoroughly driven Brewster Green GT3 Touring and closest to a real life fruition of my dream Porsche as illustrated in my profile shot. Can’t wait to see how they pair up together.
⠀
Congratulations again @thecaraba. Cheers to @topazdetailing for the tag and @horsepower_hunters for the excellent photos.
