  • This is a 1997 Acura Integra Type R that was 1 of only 320 1997 models for North America. All of those 320 models were painted in Championship White. This Type-R has the original 1.8L B18CS VTEC that makes 195 horsepower @ 8,000 rpm. That may not sound like much, but it was the highest horsepower per liter in an Naturally Aspirated engine in North America at the time. This one also features the front end, rims, and some interior components from the Japanese version of this model. I grew up with these racing Honda Civic's all over town and these would leave them wishing they bought a type R. These Japanese versions were extremely rare at the time here in Southern Ontario, but they were still sought after. #SwipeLeft to see the rear of this classic import. Since these were such a big part of my childhood, I was wondering... What was your first car? Leave your answers, specs, and stories in the comments below. I can't wait to read them. Did they happen to say, or do you know, how much it was new or how much it's worth today? Thanks

I have a 98 integra with an H22A swap that is almost done. 60k miles on the Japan motor. Having trouble getting the fuel pump to respond.
